After losing a friend to triple negative breast cancer, several College of Medicine graduate students formed an organization to raise money for research.

After returning from the holiday break, colleagues and friends from the College of Medicine cope with the loss of Dr. Robert B. Beauford, who died in the Houston airport on Dec. 22. He was 37.
The new center, for children age 5 and younger, features developmentally appropriate curriculum, play-based learning, research opportunities for students and convenience for parents.
Founding member of the UF College of Medicine’s department of anesthesiology, Constante B. de Padua, M.D., died Dec. 23 after a long illness.
