High blood pressure may point to hidden health problems for kids in the ER

A University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville study found half of the youth admitted to an urban Florida emergency room had elevated blood pressure. That high reading could be a sign of further problems, particularly kidney issues, according to study published in the October issue of Pediatric Emergency Care.
