Vikas Dharnidharka, M.D., the division chief of nephrology in the department of pediatrics, and his wife, Dimple, became U.S. citizens April 17 during a naturalization ceremony at the federal courthouse in Gainesville. Dharnidharka, who along with his wife is from India, has been at UF since 1999 and was named division chief in 2007.
