“Be a Safer Gator” – Join us for Patient Safety and Quality Week

UFH_PSQW2015_Be a Safer Gator IconPatient Safety and Quality Week is an annual week of fun, educational and interactive activities for UF Health faculty, staff and students. The 2015 theme, “Be a Safer Gator,” highlights our dedication to our mission and celebrates the progress we’re making. It’s a week of recognition that reflects our 24/7 commitment to providing the best patient experience and highest standards of quality care.

Test your patient safety knowledge, learn about recent quality initiatives and win prizes. Visit a variety of patient safety booths and displays, then check out a temporary “problem” inpatient room to identify set ups for potential hazards that can lead to clinical errors. Compete in a virtual scavenger hunt and attend a compelling presentation by guest speaker Colleen Sweeney, R.N, B.S. You’ll hear how exceptional customer service and patient-centered care impacts employees, physicians and patient satisfaction.

More information about Patient Safety and Quality Week events will be posted on the UF Health Bridge bridge.UFHealth.org home page under “FYI: Announcements” as the week approaches.
