SHCC hosts flu vaccination events at Founders Gallery this month

The UF Student Health Care Center will host flu vaccination events at the UF Health Science Center Founders Gallery from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 20, 24 and 27.

SHCC will also host flu vaccination events from noon to 3 p.m., Oct. 22 at the UF Health Science Center Dental Tower, Room D3-30; from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 23 at the UF Health Professions, Nursing and Pharmacy Building, Ground Reception Area; and from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Oct. 30 at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine Lobby.

Flu vaccinations are free for UF faculty, staff and students when SHCC is on site at UF Health with a UF ID.

For employees of UF Health Shands and UF Health Physicians, and UF College of Medicine physicians and allied health providers on our medical staffs, vaccination is available through UF Health Shands Occupational Health Services at no cost.

Please remember that individuals who provide service in any UF Health Shands, UF College of Medicine and UF Health Physicians facilities, and UF College of Dentistry facilities and programs — including UF Health Science Center college and institute physicians; residents and clinical providers; UF Health Shands employees; UF Health Physicians employees; credentialed medical staff and allied health staff; students; trainees; and volunteers –  are expected to be vaccinated against the flu by Nov. 15, or they will be required to complete a formal opt-out process and wear a surgical mask in patient care areas.
