UF Health volunteers needed for UF Mobile Clinic

We provide free primary care, sexually transmitted disease testing, and family planning four days a week and two evenings a week. Volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work in interprofessional teams with clinic staff and UF Health Science Center students to provide care to more than 4,500 uninsured members of our community each year. The clinic operates on a limited budget and relies on extensive participation of volunteers. Based on our Family Planning and STD screening services, the Mobile Clinic has displayed $34 in savings to Alachua County taxpayers for each $1 invested.

Volunteer shifts are approximately 4 hours. Contact Sherice Stewart at (352) 273-5329. If you can’t volunteer, and would like to make a donation please make the check payable to: UF Foundation and in the memo section, please write Outreach Programs- Fund F018557.
