Med students prepare for trip to Haiti

Students of the UF College of Medicine’s Project Haiti will participate in the university’s Club Creole gala on Saturday, Jan. 29 to show they have not forgotten about the people of Haiti since the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Port-au-Prince last year.

At the event, to be held at Paramount Plaza, medical students will sell original Haitian paintings to raise money for supplies needed for their international health trip in the spring. All proceeds from ticket purchases will go toward a Haitian charity.

Please contact etopiol@ufl.edu or visit the UF Project Haiti website for more information about the event and the project.
