Juan C. Cendan, M.D., was appointed assistant dean for simulation and medical education at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

William A. Dunn Jr., Ph.D., was appointed interim chair of the department of anatomy and cell biology at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

On July 1, Dr. David Guzick will join UF as senior vice president for health affairs and will serve as president of the UF&Shands Health System.

Stephen P. Sugrue, Ph.D., was appointed senior associate dean for research affairs at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Lucia Notterpek, Ph.D., was appointed chair of the department of neuroscience. A UF neuroscientist since 1999, Notterpek has established a track record of scientific discoveries that may impact future therapies for brain diseases.
