Statewide research consortium receives $7.9 million for research to improve patient outcomes

The OneFlorida Clinical Research Consortium has been approved for $7.9 million in funding from PCORI and has been named one of the nation’s 13 clinical data research networks.

In northern states, the baseball season ramps up in the spring months, but in the South, baseball starts as early as January and can go year round. UF Health researchers think that’s why baseball pitchers are at a higher risk for tearing a ligament in their elbows.
