During November, the University of Florida will shine a “blue” spotlight on diabetes with several events planned to raise awareness and promote prevention of the disease.

Mary Tyler Moore presented the UF College of Medicine diabetes team with a prestigious award from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in recognition of their work to accelerate the development of a cure for type 1 diabetes.
